Agriculture

Serious intelligence for the infrastructure behind agriculture.

Zirat starts where farming depends on physical equipment: the pump that moves the water, the controller that times it, the generator behind the cold room. Equipment intelligence is the hero; agriculture is the context.

The assets

Everything an operation physically relies on.

The product vocabulary for Zirat’s first scope. It is deliberately non-exhaustive, and it is not a data schema.

Agricultural machinery

Tractors · harvesters · tillers · threshers · processing machinery

Agricultural equipment

Irrigation equipment · sprayers · harvesting, handling and storage equipment

Vehicles

Agricultural vehicles · trailers · utility and transport vehicles

Tools and implements

Hand and power tools · implements · attachments

Power equipment

Generators · motors · power systems · solar-powered equipment

Infrastructure

Pump houses · irrigation and cold-storage infrastructure · greenhouses and polyhouses · farm electrical systems

The first pilot is proposed around polyhouse and drip-irrigation equipment — pumps and irrigation controllers — because those assets are well defined, widely documented and operationally critical.

The operating context

Designed for where agriculture actually happens.

  • Time-bound windowsSowing, irrigation and harvest windows are narrow. Downtime inside one compounds across a season.
  • Weak or absent connectivityFields, pump houses and remote storage are often poorly connected exactly where the machine is.
  • Dust, heat and monsoonTags, paper and phones all have to survive the same conditions as the equipment.
  • A wide range of trainingUsers range from experienced mechanics to owners with no formal equipment-service training.

Offline use, cached essentials, queued capture and regional-language support are planned development priorities — not features available today.

The people

Different roles, one shared machine record.

Farm owners and operators

Know what equipment they depend on and what it will cost to keep running.

Operations and equipment managers

Coordinate equipment across fields, crews and seasonal demand.

Mechanics and technicians

Need a grounded answer at the machine, often without a signal.

Dealers and service providers

Service equipment they did not sell, and need its history to do it properly.

Cooperatives and agricultural enterprises

Operate equipment shared or coordinated across many member farms.

Irrigation and cold-storage operators

Run infrastructure continuously, where failure windows are especially costly.

A boundary we hold

Zirat is about the equipment, not the crop.

The name invites a bigger assumption than the product makes. Zirat does not model what is grown, when, or how well. It models the machines and infrastructure the operation depends on to do that work.
